Original Ideas
This was a draft of a Kirby and Yoshi picture. The Adventures of Kirby and Yoshi actually started out as a school project in the third grade. The pink and green duo with red shoes has come a long way since then.
And yes... Yoshi has no spikes, no saddle, but wings. I was a big fan of winged Yoshi in Super Mario World. Blue Koopa Shell FTW!
Ultimate Brawl
When I first decided to make Ultimate Brawl, I made some comics that would storyboard what was going on. I made two versions of Ultimate Brawl before starting the current version. The first version was of Ninja and Meteos (Charizard). Ninja was going to join a tournament called "Ultimate Brawl" when Meteos, Ninja's rival, appeared. He said that he was going to beat Ninja who retorted with "No way you'll ever beat me!" I decided that the idea was too cliche and wouldn't work out.
The second idea was a little like the current one, but instead of Ninja meeting an Admin and fighting Wsabi, a player named Blue (Sonic) attacks him. After Ninja defeats him, Blue tells him about a tournament called Ultimate Brawl. Again, that was cliche. It would either be like a cartoon where the main character wins, or like Pokemon where the main character loses but still keeps going.
I finally put in the Admins, the HAX Fighters, and the HAX Group to get the final result. Most people like Ultimate Brawl, but I'm constantly getting comments that tell me I'm copying Shippiddge. That means you haven't really been paying attention to me saying that it was inspired by Shippiddge. If you actually watch the series, you'll find out that it is almost completely different than Smashtasm aside from it being a server based system.
The Adventures of Kirby and Yoshi
I was reading a comic my friend, Ryan, and I made awhile back (around 2003) called The Adventures of Kirby and Yoshi,and I thought "Hey! This would be perfect to machinimate!" I decided then that I would introduce the insane antics of the duo to YouTube. I originally planned for the series to follow the comics, but then realized that I have giant monsters, tiny wizard turtles, and some weird cockroach type thing that couldn't be brought into the SSBB Universe. I almost gave up on it, but then watched an episode of Brawlgasm. It reminded me so much of what Kirby and Yoshi did (except for most of the profanity) and I decided that I'll base episode off the comics when all the characters can be machinimated. I would replace a lot of characters with things and people in Brawl. Thanks GuitarMasterX7!
